Barbados to host 2007 World Cup final
Barbados will host the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 and Jamaica will be the venue for the inaugural match of the tournament.

London: Barbados will host the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 and Jamaica will be the venue for the inaugural match of the tournament, organisers have announced. India's most famous cricket wins in the West Indies have come at Port of Spain in Trinidad and Tobago. And Trinidad and Tobago is where the Indian team will be based and where they will play their league matches during the 2007 World Cup. Trinidad and Tobago is famous not just for producing cricketers like Brian Lara but also for being two prosperous Caribbean islands because of their wealth of oil resources. Trinidad and Tobago also has a large population of people of Indian descent. There will be a total of 51 matches with 24 games in the Super Eight League stage, two semi-finals and then the final in the third biggest sport event in the world.
