New Delhi:An emotional Kapil Dev lashed out at the BCCI on NDTV's Cricket Controversies.
The World Cup winning captain, who was voted the greatest Indian cricketer of the century, said that if the Board could treat a former captain like him so poorly then it shows how ruthless they can be with players.
Last week the Board sacked Kapil Dev as chairman of the national cricket academy, saying that he can't have his feet in two different boats since he is Chairman of the Board of the ICL or the Indian Cricket League.
Kapil said the Board is pretending to be a democracy when they really are a dictatorship.
He also said that the ICL was planned as just another tournament but now the board response is pushing them to start an alternate Indian team, which was never the intention.
