Bangalore:He missed the one day series in Australia earlier this year but since his return, Mohammad Kaif has proved that he's back to being among the best lower order batsmen in the world right now. During the one-day series in Pakistan, Kaif's effort helped India win the crucial fourth game. Since then, the team's fortunes may have dipped but his own form has been immaculate with two 50s and a 49 not out in 6 innings since the Asia Cup. "My performance was alright. I am feeling good about having played three or four good innings. That confidence will help in forthcoming matches. I feel that if I continue the same form in the future, the selectors will definitely consider me," said Kaif. Kaif though still nurtures hopes of playing for the Indian test team once again. His last test was in Sri Lanka in 2001. He's played just four Tests till now at an average of just 20.
