London:Sachin Tendulkar has for the very first time admitted that the one-day game is taking its toll on his body and now at the age of 34 he finds he takes longer to recover betwen games.
It's one sign that Sachin may soon choose to retire from one-day cricket.
In an interview to The Times, he said, "I enjoy every moment on a cricket field, but the recovery times between ODI's are difficult and that's my major obstacle."
Sachin says at 34 age is a factor. He used to find it much easier at 22 or 23, but now the game is taking its toll on his body.
"It does take its toll on the body. When you are 22 or 23, you recover a lot more quickly.
But at 34, it's not so easy," he told the paper.
