Teams arrive in Kochi
Cricket fever gripped the football crazy Kochi city with the arrival of the Indian and Australian teams on Sunday.

Kochi:
The second one-day international match of the Future Cup series will be played at the Jawaharlal Nehru international stadium in Kochi on Tuesday.
Both teams arrived by Jet Airways flight from Bangalore at the Nedumbassery International airport, abour 70 km from Kochi, at around 8.30 pm to traditional Malayali welcome.
The first ODI in Bangalore yesterday was abandoned after rain played spoilsport.
The teams on their arrival were received with thalappoli and singari melam.
Hundreds of enthusiastic cricket fans were at the aiport to have a glimpse of their heros. There was loud cheers when master blaster Sachin Tendulkar emerged.
Tendulkar, who sat in one of the front seats in the air-conditioned luxury bus, acknowledged the cheers by waving to his fans.
Pace bowler S Sreesanth arrived in the morning. The teams were received by Kerala Cricket Association President K Balakrishnan and Secretary T C Mathew and other
office-bearers.
Police made tight security arrangements both at the airport and Taj Malabar hotel, where the teams are staying.
This is the second time the Australians are coming to Kochi.
The first ever match at the Nehru stadium was played between India and Australia in 1998, which the hosts won, with Tendulkar capturing a career best five for 32.
