Thumping win for India U-19
India beat Namibia by 195 runs in their opening game of Under-19 World Cup in Kuala Lumpur.

At the Kinara Oval in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, India posted a hefty 280 in their 50 overs before bowling PNG out for just 85.
For India, there were batting and bowling contributions all around. Openers Turuwar Kohli and the southpaw wicket-keeper Shreevats Goswami set the tone with a brisk 100-run stand in 22 overs.
Kohli made 40 and Goswami 58.
It was backed up with Tanmay Shrivastava's unbeaten 83 and skipper Virat Kohli's 40.
In reply, PNG could survive just 28 overs. The spoils were shared by Iqbal Abdullah (3-2), Virat (2-4) and Ajitesh Argal (2-5), after Pradeep Sangwan (2-18) had made the breakthrough at the top.
India will take on South Africa U-19 next at this venue on Tuesday.

Hill lights up the Penang
Michael Hill smashed a 71-ball 124 as Australia cleaned up Namibia in their Group C encounter at the Penang Sports Club.
Hill's innings had 11 sixes and 7 fours, and at one stage Australia looked good for a score of 350-plus before Namibia's late surge helped bowl them out for 312 in 48 overs.
In response, the Namibians were hot on the chase but ran out of steam after the departure of Dawid Botha (56, 46 balls, 10x4) and Louis van der Westhuizen (48, 35 balls, 5x4, 2x6).
They folded up for 163 to lose by 149 runs. For Australia Steven Smith took 4-41.

England win by 10 wickets
Continuing with the trend of comprehensive wins, England beat Ireland by 10 wickets at Bayuemas Oval in their Group D game.
Ireland could manager just 109 in 31.2 overs and it was small matter for the England openers, who jogged to a win in a ball less than 16 overs.
Brief scores: Ireland U-19 109 all out in 31.2 overs (C Dougherty 34, G McKenna 16; S Finn 3-21, J Harris 3-40) lose to England U-19 110 for 0 in 15.5 overs (B Godleman 38*, J Taylor 52*) by 10 wickets.
Pakistan annihilate hosts Malaysia
New ball bowlers Adeel Raza (6-29) and Mohammad Aamer (3-11) helped bowl out hosts Malaysia for 75 in their Group A game, and Pakistan chased down the target losing two wickets.
Only two Malaysian batsmen got into double figures, the next best score being 5, while extras were 18.
Pakistan needed just 9.3 overs to get to 76.
