Security arrangements for the remaining IPL matches at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium will be tightened in the wake of the Tuesday blasts.
The series of blasts ripped through the heart of the city, killing at least 63 people and injuring 90. The terror strikes have put a question mark over the IPL match between Rajasthan Royals and Bangalore Royals Challengers.
However, after meeting with the state's home secretary, V.S. Singh, IPL chairman and commissioner Lalit Modi said on Wednesday the match would be held as scheduled.
"The security for future matches will be heightened and no bags will be allowed in the stadium," Modi said in a statement.
