Kolkata:India vice-captain Jhulan Goswami and Anustup Mazumdar were on Saturday adjudged Best Senior Womens Cricketer and Cricketer of the Year respectively by the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) for the season 2007-08.
They were chosen for the awards for their outstanding performance throughout the season, CAB president Prasun Mukhopadhyaya said.
The duo received the awards from GOC-in-C Bengal Area Maj Gen A M Verma at a function on Saturday.
Medium pacer Shib Shankar Paul and Sreevats Goswami who represented India in the last U-19 World Cup received the best fast bowler of the year and best under 19 cricketer of the year awards respectively.
CAB also honoured veteran cricketer Ashok Kumar (Benu) Das Gupta with Kartick Bose Memorial Life Time Achievement Award for his contribution to Bengal cricket. Wriddhiman Saha was awarded the Gentleman Cricketer of the Year.

Best District cricketer for Under 17 Years: Dharam Das
Best District Cricketer for Under 15 years: Sayandip Bera
The winners and runners up in various competitions under CAB were also awarded at this annual award function.
