Bangalore:India believe they have the moral victory after the draw at the Bangalore Test, but there's no way you can expect the Aussie skipper Ricky Ponting to concede that fact.
In an exclusive interview to NDTV, Punter believes that it was his men who dominated the match and the pressure is now on Anil Kumble and Sachin Tendulkar.
"We dominated the Bangalore Test for the majority of the match but allowing Zaheer and Harbhajan's partnership to flourish cost us the game," said Ricky Ponting.
"The Test was played in the right spirit of the game. Credit should go to my batsmen for dealing well with Indian bowlers," he added.
Ponting said that it was a bonus that they were able to keep Anil Kumble wicketless.
"Now, the pressure will be on any captain who's not performing," Ponting said hinting towards Anil Kumble.
On Sachin Tendulkar about to break Brian Lara's record, Ponting said, "Lara's record was playing on Sachin's mind. The fact that he doesn't have a 50 in the last 10 innings will also be on his mind," he said.
On the upcoming match in Mohali, Ponting said that if India would play with two spinners, the wicket won't be a traditional one.
