New Delhi:

In the latest released ICC ODI rankings, South Africa have retained the second place, while India are behind them by just a fraction of a point following their series win against England.

India lost the chance to grab the second spot in the table as the remaing two ODIs of the seven-match series were called off following the Mumbai terror attacks. But by winning the series 5-0, India gained four ratings points and are placed with 119 points.

England, on the other hand, paid the price for the series loss by giving away five ratings points and are now placed sixth in the table. Sri Lanka are just a point behind Kevin Pietersen's team following their 5-0 series win over Zimbabwe.

Australia are still numero uno in the ICC ODI Championship while Pakistan and New Zealand are fourth and fifth respectively.
