No official request from KKR: GCA
The Gujarat Cricket Association on Saturday rubbished reports claiming that the state could host a few IPL matches involving Kolkata Knight Riders.

Amin said nobody from the Knight Riders team had approached them with such a request but said they can consider the proposal if it comes in future.
Amin, in a statement, said GCA would discuss the terms and conditions and examine various rules of IPL before taking any decision.
Earlier, it was reported that GCA could host a few IPL matches at Sardar Patel stadium at Motera, Ahmedabad in the second edition of the cash-rich event.
Amin said it was only through media that he came to know about such reports.
However, the GCA president said officials of the Rajasthan Royals team did visit the GCA stadium and looked into the facilities available there.
