BCCI does not want to help the game, says Kapil Dev
Chairman of the Indian Cricket League Kapil Dev slammed the BCCI for failure of talks to end the ongoing BCCI-ICL dispute.

"I thought what I can say it's a very simple thing that it looked like that people who do not want to help the game, they are running the game", the former India captain said on the failed talks.
But he added: "Those type of things happen in life". "I think one important aspect of everything is: aren't we promoting the game ?..that is the bottom line..if we are promoting the game in India, then one should not feel bad and one should feel proud and we as a cricketer feel proud and happy about that", Kapil Dev said.
ICL's application before International Cricket Council seeks recognition by ICC as unofficial cricket. BCCI's stand is that ICL should disband its league.
He was speaking on the sidelines of a mascot launch programme of International Wheelchair & Amputee Sports (IWAS) World Games which would be held here from November 24 to December one.
R Rathan Singh, President of Paralympic Committee of India which is organising the event, said around 1,400 athletes and team officials from 62 countries are expected to participate in the world games.
