Brendan Rodgers thrilled by Luis Suarez-Daniel Sturridge partnership

Spain international Pepe Reina, who underwent surgery on a broken nose on Friday, missed Saturday's win over Norwich with a thigh problem.

Liverpool: Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has praised the immediate impact of the partnership between Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge, who both scored in the 5-0 win over Norwich City.

Sturridge, 23, arrived from Chelsea in a £12 million deal ($19.6 million, 14.8 million euros) earlier this month and is just the seventh player in Liverpool history to score in each of his first three games for the club.

The England international also set up Suarez's 20th goal of the campaign with a neat dummy as the two combined impressively.
