Manchester: Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has given the Football Association his observations following his controversial post-match comments at Tottenham.

Ferguson was furious with linesman Simon Beck following the 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane on Sunday when United conceded a stoppage-time equaliser after Wayne Rooney's penalty claim was rejected by referee Chris Foy.

The Scot claimed Beck should have stepped in to tell Foy the challenge on Rooney was worthy of a penalty and he went on to reveal his discontent with the linesman dating back to April 2010 when he failed to spot Didier Drogba was in an offside position as he scored a crucial goal for Chelsea at Old Trafford.
