Spanish striker Diego Costa has confirmed his move to Chelsea in a move that is being billed at 40 million euros or 54.46 million dollars. The Atletico Madrid superstar helped his club claim its first La Liga title in 18 years and finish a close second in the Champions League.
Costa will combine forces with Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas who has also been bought by the west London club. ""I have always wanted to play in the Premier League," the 25-year-old was quoted as saying. "(Chelsea) is one of the best teams in the world so there are a lot of reasons why I took the decision."
Costa will now join fellow Spaniards Fernando Torres, Fabregas and Cesar Azpilicueta in the Chelsea squad. "Every league is different but none is easy. I will have to work hard to adapt to the Premier League style," he said.
