New Delhi:
All India Football Federation's outgoing General Secretary Alberto Colaco will also be with the minister when he meets Blatter either on Tuesday or Wednesday.
"The minister is already in Switzerland. He (Gill) has not specifically gone to Switzerland to meet the FIFA chief.
He has other programmes during the next three-four days and he will meet Joseph Blatter in one of these days," Joint Secretary Sports Injeti Srinivas said.
Colaco is leaving for Switzerland on Tuesday.
Gill will discuss FIFA's ambitious 'Win in India with India' project which was launched by Blatter when he visited India in April 2007.
The minister is also likely to impress upon the FIFA chief to allot a big tournament to India which would help in developing infrastructure in the country with FIFA help.
FIFA had recently decided to allot eight artificial turfs to India under the 'Win in India with India' project and AIFF's three-member committee have picked the states to which the turfs would be laid.
This matter is also expected to come up during Gill's meeting of with the FIFA chief.
Another FIFA programme - Goal Project - is being implemented in the country and now running in Sikkim and Karnataka.
'Win in India with India' focuses on developing Indian football at elite level: the top two I-League divisions, support in the development of national teams, developing infrastructure for clubs, training coaches and referees.
The Goal Project, on the other hand, focuses on the development of infrastructure in the states of the country.
