Seville:
Sergio Duda and Javier Chevanton scored in the first half of the second leg of the semifinals at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium to send Sevilla through 5-0 on aggregate.
Sevilla will play FC Barcelona or Getafe in the final at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on June 23. FC Barcelona leads Getafe 5-2 ahead of Thursday's second leg.
The victory maintains Sevilla's challenge for three trophies this season.
The team defends its UEFA Cup title in next Wednesday's final against Espanyol, and it's in third place in the Spanish league, four points behind leader Barcelona with five games to play.
Boosted by the 3-0 advantage from the first leg, Ramos rested several players for Thursday's match, including the team's leading scorer this season, Frederic Kanoute, and midfielder Christian Poulsen.
One of the newcomers, Portuguese midfielder Duda, took just three minutes to extend Sevilla's lead with a curling free kick from the edge of the area.
Deportivo coach Joaquin Caparros, who was in charge of Sevilla from 2000-05, saw his team fall further behind 30 minutes later.
Cheventon sold Deportivo's Luis Filipe a dummy by stepping over Daniel Alves' pass and then ran around his opponent and scored.
Deportivo's only consolation was the return of striker Rodolfo Bodipo after nearly eight months out with a serious right knee injury. The Equatorial Guinea international appeared as a 75th-minute substitute.
Sevilla has won the Copa del Rey three times, but the last time was in 1948.
