Norwegian International Ole Gunnar Solskjaer saved Manchester Utd by scoring in the dying moments to earn the English Premiership champions a 1-1 draw at home to Leeds United on Saturday. Michael Owen returned to action after seven games to score Liverpool's second goal in a 2-0 win at Charlton in the English Premiership on Saturday. Sunderland and Arsenal battled to a controversial draw in the FA Premiership. Derby County and Chelsea shared the points in an entertaining Premier league game at Pride park on Sunday. Manchester Utd vs Leeds Utd There was tension galore between Manchester and Leeds United and it came to a head in the 56th minute when the Leeds striker Robbie Keane responded to a double foul by Beckham with a full-blooded push in the face that floored the England captain. Instead of being sent off, Keene got away with just a yellow card. But the FA responded by later punishing the referee. He's now been demoted to the first division. Leeds seemed to have got a chance in the 60th minute. Keane curled home a free kick into the top right corner behind Fabien Barthez, but referee Gallagher disallowed the goal because he had not signaled for play to begin. In the 61st minute Manchester got their chance, Ruud Van Nistelrooy firing it into the goal but Gallagher disallowed it as he had called for a free kick but Nistelrooy had continued. Leeds finally broke the deadlock in the 76th minute when Mark Viduka scored. Manchester equalised in the final two minutes when Ryan Giggs found Ole Gunnar Solskjar at the far post and he headed the ball past Nigel Martyn in the Leeds goal. And the game would end 1-1 at the final whistle. Liverpool vs Charlton Liverpool took the lead in the 14th minute with a simple goal from skipper Jamie Redknapp. And the second followed soon, this time from Michael Owen who celebrated his return from injury. The striker coolly chipped over Kiely to make it 2-0 for the visitors, Liverpool winning by that scoreline. Arsenal vs Sunderland In the 40th minute Nigerian Kanu opened the scoring for Arsenal against Sunderland making it 1-0. Sunderland equalised after half time in the 54th minute when Schwarz lobbed the ball from the edge of the area. Arsenal only managed to draw the game 1-1 that should have been won but for a missed penalty in the 72nd minute by Patrick Vieira. Derby vs Chelsea Derby County hosted Chelsea at Pride park on Sunday and Derby made a good start to the match taking the lead in the seventh minute thanks to Fabrizio Ravanelli. Chelsea equalised in the second half, Dutch striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink firing a shot through a crowd of players. The match would end in a 1-1 draw with an ugly confrontation between Derby's Ravanelli and Chelsea captain Marcel Desailly, a continuation of their first skirmish in the second half. And in some other Premier league results, Aston Villa beat Bolton 3-2, Newcastle won 3-1 in an away match with Everton, Fulham won 2-1 against Southampton and Tottenham beat Middlesbrough 2-1.
