Kolkata:League leader East Bengal received their first jolt when they were forced to a barren draw by runners up Churchill Brothers in the National Football League at Salt Lake stadium today. In spite of this draw, East Bengal, which won all the four matches they played, continue to lead the league table with 13 points from five matches, while Churchill Brothers managed to earn four points from five outings. East Bengal had to blame themselves for not being able to earn full points today even after dominating the proceedings for most part of the time. They had to share points because of the easy chances their front-liners bungled time and again. Churchill coach Pacheko after the match said they were happy to get a point in their away match after a series of poor performances earlier.
