Kolkata:In one of the biggest football fixtures that Kolkata has seen in recent times, India will take on World Cuppers Saudi Arabia in the AFC Asian Cup 2007 qualifiers on Wednesday. While the match will be played on the field, the war is being waged in the mind as well and self-motivation, confidence building and team spirit may just be the roadmap for success. "Psychology is the most important thing. Even if you have got the team organised well and they are very fit, if they don't feel confident and don't believe, then it's very difficult to be successful," said Bob Houghton, Indian team coach. Dribbling in the World Cup might have given them a distinct edge, but the star studded Saudi team is not willing to brush aside Bhaichung's brigade. "The most important of the games is the one we will be playing soon. So our game against India is the most important for the moment," said Marcos Pacqueta, Saudi Arabia team coach. With less than a day to go for the big fight, mind games to outwit each other have begun off the field. On D-day, the best man will be the one who can wield mind over matter.
