Liverpool coach Rafael Benitez is confident that his strikers will translate their domestic form to the European stage when they welcome Galatasaray to Anfield on Wednesday in the second round of matches in Champions League Group C. "Well, the idea is to start winning right now. This is the first game against Galatasaray, which is a good team with good players, and if you can avoid having to win in the last game (away at Galatasaray) I think it will be better," said Benitez. Liverpool drew nil-nil in their opening Group C encounter against PSV Eindhoven and have not scored in their last five Champions League encounters, qualifying games aside. Striker Peter Crouch has started on the bench for the last four games, but could come in for Craig Bellamy or Dirk Kuyt as the trio battle it out for a place up front. Offensive strategy Galatasaray played out a goalless draw at home to Bordeaux in their first Group C outing. They have yet to win in six visits to England. Given their record on English soil, they might well regard another stalemate as a success. But coach Erik Gerets is adamant that his side will not just be playing for a draw. "I think we will not choose to attack with four or five players, but we don't have a philosophy only to defend, so if we come here only to defend we know we have no chance. So if there will be a possibility to play offensively, we will do that on every occasion we can," said Erik Gerets, Galatasaray coach. Bordeaux host PSV in Wednesday's other Group C game.
