Russia names squad for Euro 2012 qualifiers

Russia coach Dick Advocaat has called up newcomer Alexander Samedov to replace injured midfielder Dmitry Torbinskiy for the team's last two Euro 2012 qualifiers.
Russia is away to Slovakia on Oct. 7 and will host Andorra in Moscow four days later.
Advocaat's side is top of Group B with 17 points after eight games. Second-place Ireland is two points behind, followed by Armenia and Slovakia on 14 points each.
Advocaat has been widely criticized for selecting the same 20-man squad for the most of the qualifying round.

Goalkeepers: Vyacheslav Malafeev (Zenit St. Petersburg), Anton Shunin (Dinamo Moscow).
Defenders: Alexander Anyukov (Zenit St. Petersburg), Alexei Berezutski (CSKA Moscow), Vasiliy Berezutski (CSKA Moscow), Sergei Ignashevich (CSKA Moscow), Yuri Zhirkov (Anzhi), Roman Shishkin (Lokomotiv Moscow).
