London:
Tevez is currently playing with Argentina at the Copa America in Venezuela while a dispute over the legality of his contract, and who gets the money from his transfer from West Ham, has continued in Britain.
Joorabchian, who owns the player's economic rights, said Tevez only agreed to spend one year at West Ham when he joined in August 2006.
"He knows he is not fighting with West Ham or demanding anything," Joorabchian told Sky Sports News late Thursday. "He loved his time there and it was mutually agreed he would be there for a year and he has served his year.
"He feels confident now he is a Man United player."
Tevez has already agreed personal terms with United and will soon have a medical examination, expected to be on Wednesday.
"I think we have got the player - we think he is our player and are very hopeful," Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson said late Thursday. "Everyone was excited when we thought we could get Tevez. He's exciting, his form is fantastic, and at 23 he can get better."
United has agreed an initial loan deal for Tevez, with the option of a permanent transfer.
The deal stalled last week after the Premier League insisted West Ham, which holds Tevez's registration, must receive the majority of the fee.
That's because West Ham was allowed to keep playing Tevez last season after assuring the Premier League that all third-party clauses in the player's contract had been severed.
"We don't see any problems," Joorabchian said. "I spoke to United tonight and they are confident they will have him registered next week."
However, the Premier League said it would not transfer Tevez's registration to Manchester United until it is satisfied that West Ham conducted the transfer.
