Philadelphia:
Sir Alex Ferguson and his United Squad were in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for their second of three Champions World matches in the US on Wednesday night. Playing in front of a 55,000 strong crowd, Celtic took the lead in the ninth minute after Stilian Petrov had been brought down in the penalty area. Chris Sutton stepped forward and sent United keeper, Tim Howard the wrong way. United equalised in the 35th minute courtesy of their summer signing Alan Smith. Christopher Eagles swung in corner kick and Smith jumped highest to head home. Celtic's winner came in the 71st minute. United skipper Roy Keane lost possession and Craig Beattie ran on to score calmly, slotting the ball between the legs of the advancing Howard. United will play its third and final game of the Champions World Series against AC Milan on Saturday in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Celtic will also play Saturday against AS Roma in Toronto to wrap up its North American tour. (AP)Topics mentioned in this article
