Having beaten them in the away match, Vasco holds psychological advantage over Tollygunge when they meet tomorrow at Nehru stadium here in the thirteenth round of the ninth National Football League. Vasco, languishing at the bottom with 9 points from 12 matches, on the whole has played well but inept shooting by their forwards has let them down and are struggling to escape relegation. But their win against Mohun Bagan, Tollygunge and draw against Mahindras in their last three matches has given them hopes of survival in the NFL. Although Vasco holds psychological advantage of beating Tollygunge in Kolkata it will remain to be seen if they carry the advantage as they are yet to win a match at home. Brazilian duo To achieve victory, much will depend on their Brazilian duo Sidney Rodrigues and Fabio Soares to inspire their other colleagues. On the other hand, Tollygunge hovering around relegation zone have 14 points from 12 matches, need to shed their defensive approach and play a more positive game if they are to achieve full points. Tollygunge's fortune will largely depend on their tall player Suley Musah who has been holding the fort together in the defence and lending helping hand when on attack. Tollygunge coach Biswajit Das is optimistic that his boys will put up a good show. "We respect Vasco as they are a good side who has beaten us at home. But we will not worry about the past as we need to collect full points to remain above the relegation zone." (PTI)
