London:The BBC has reported that the English Football Association has offered Luiz Felipe Scolari the position of the team's coach. The Brazilian, who led his national team to victory in the 2002 World Cup, is currently managing the Portuguese team. His contract will run out after the 2006 World Cup. England have been on the lookout for a coach after Sven Goran Ericcson announced that he would quit after this year's games in Germany. Ironically, it was under Scolari's charge that Brazil hastened England's exit from the 2002 World Cup.
