Madrid:
Real Madrid kept their slim hopes of winning the Spanish Primera Liga title alive on Sunday when they beat rivals Barcelona 4-2 in a scintillating "El Clasico" meeting at the Bernabeu Stadium. Goals from Zinedine Zidane and Ronaldo put Real 2-0 ahead inside the first 20 minutes. But it took a first half injury time strike from captain Raul to settle Real's nerves after Samuel Eto'o pulled a goal back for the visitors. Michael Owen made it 4-1 to the Merengues midway through the second half to put further gloss on Real's victory, although Ronaldinho's goal from a free kick ensured a nervy finish for the home side.
