Blackburn: Blackburn has apologized to former manager Sam Allardyce for the false allegations about his firing made by his successor.

Steve Kean, who was promoted to replace Allardyce in 2010, was filmed by fans in a Hong Kong bar the following year questioning Allardyce's integrity.

Blackburn said on its website Tuesday that Kean "falsely alleged that Sam Allardyce, our previous manager, was sacked by us because he was a crook. This is completely false."
