Tokyo:
Japanese soccer international Koji Nakata hinted he may leave French club Marseille in January, but said he had already turned down an offer from an Israeli team. Nakata said on Friday it is possible he will move to another team, though he was "not clear about anything at this point.'' Marseille left the defender out of its latest training camp, prompting Nakata to consider a transfer, according to a website. But an offer made by an Israeli team in December was rejected, Nakata said, but did not name the team. Nakata, who used to play for the Kashima Antlers in the Japanese first division, signed an 18-month contract with Marseille in February this year for an undisclosed sum.
