Paris:
Paris St Germain maintained their 100 per cent record in France's Ligue-1 with a 2-0 win over ten-man Toulouse on Saturday. A tough task for Toulouse was made harder still in the 31st minute when Bryan Bergougnoux was shown a red card for a dangerous tackle on Ivory Coast forward Bonaventure Kalou. Kalou had returned to the PSG line-up after recovering from a minor injury. So too had Pauleta, and the Portugal striker gave his side the lead a minute before half-time. Toulouse goalkeeper Christophe Revault could not hold on to Jerome Rothen's shot, and Pauleta scored from the rebound. Pauleta doubled the lead in the 62nd minute after a dreadful defensive mix-up between Issoumaila Dao and Revault. The final score was 2-0 as PSG maintained their 100 per cent record, top of the standings with nine points from three games. Toulouse are 10th. (AP)Topics mentioned in this article
