New Delhi: Former Manchester United player Bojan Djordjic will play in the the inaugural season of the Indian Super League, the organisers said on Wednesday.
Djordjic, 32, joined United at the age of 17 in 1999 and stayed at the club till 2004. But, he made only two appearances for the Premier League club.
"Hero Indian Super League confirms the participation of former Manchester United player Bojan Djordjic for the inaugural season. The winger-cum-attacking midfielder will feature among the 49 players in the 'central international player draft' to be held on August 21st 2014 in Mumbai," the organisers IMG-Reliance said in a release.
