Pep Guardiola is hoping Bayern Munich can keep its injury woes aside when the team plays CSKA Moscow.


Moscow: Five-time European champions Bayern Munich travel to Russia on Tuesday where they will take on domestic giants CSKA Moscow behind closed doors on matchday two in Group E.

Pep Guardiola's talent-laden, but injury ravaged side, opened their account with a last minute 1-0 victory over English champions Manchester City in their opener while CSKA were humbled 5-1 in the Italian capital by Roma. (Also read: Manchester City on alert as Roma come calling)

The Red Army side have been punished by governing body UEFA after fan unrest during their group stage match against Czech club Viktoria Plzen last season and only a sparse number of people will be inside the Khimki Arena for Tuesday's key match.
