Madrid: Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring for Real Madrid in their 3-1 win away to Liverpool in Anfield on Wednesday night and in doing so threw down the gauntlet to FC Barcelona ahead of Saturday's clash between Madrid and Barca in the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

The result of that game could go a long way towards deciding the destination of the Spanish league title, although there is still a long way to go in the season. But one thing Ronaldo is unhappy about is that his side will have a day less to prepare for the game than their rivals, who played at home to Ajax Tuesday, reports Xinhua.

"I don't understand the kick off time of the 'Classico' on Saturday after we played today," said Ronaldo.
