London:
Jose Mourinho's Chelsea outplayed FC Porto, the team he led to Champion League glory, 3-1 to leave his former club with a huge task to stay in the competition. One of the Porto fans spat on him and that was before the game. Goals by Alexei Smertin, Didier Drogba and John Terry gave Mourinho's Blues their second victory in a row as Chelsea took control of Group H and left Porto third in the standings with just one point. It was Drogba's third Champions League goal in two games. Mourinho shook hands with several Porto fans before the match, but was not concerned that one spat on him. "You only saw the spit, you didn't see the photos and the compliments," Mourinho said. "I had my back to the crowd I was just looking at the warmup of my players. I couldn't see much, but I think it was normal. I expect that. Some people love me, other people don't love me. That's life, that's football," he said. Six-time champion AC Milan scored twice in the last two minutes to beat Celtic 3-1 and Carlo Ancelotti's men are tied with Barcelona atop Group F after the Spanish soccer giant beat Shakhtar Donetsk 3-0. German champion Werder Bremen came from behind to beat Valencia 2-1 after the Spanish titlist had Carlos Marchena sent off early in the second half. With Inter Milan winning 3-1 at Anderlecht to go top of the standings with a maximum six points from two games, Bremen and Valencia are level on three. (AP)Topics mentioned in this article
