Maranello:There are plenty of promising signs going into the Spanish Grand Prix for Ferrari.
The Italian team are second in the constructors' championship, five points behind McLaren.
Kimi Raikkonen shares the lead in the drivers' standings with McLaren's Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton, whilst Felipe Massa won in Bahrain four weeks ago to move to within five points of the championship lead - and the Brazilian will be looking for his second consecutive victory on Sunday.
Test driver Marc Gene is confident that the Ferrari car will work well in Barcelona.
Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya will be packed with fans willing defending world champion Fernando Alonso on in his home Grand Prix which he won for the first time 12 months ago.
But Gene believes that there will also be thousands of Ferrari fans present to cheer on Massa and Raikkonen.
Changes have been made to the Circuit de Catalunya since last year's race with a tight chicane added to improve safety.
It is yet to be seen how the cars will cope with the alterations but, if all goes according to plan, Ferrari will be leading the constructors' championship with one of Raikkonen or Massa at the head of the drivers' standings at the end of the Sunday's race.
