Barcelona: Force India’s Paul di Resta underwent a simulation training course as part of his team’s final pre-season testing at the Circuit de Catalunya on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old Scot who will race for Force India in the Australian Grand Prix beginning 25th March, ran a total of 118 laps on the simulator that included qualifying runs, full race set-up and live pit stops.
His best time was 1:24.334. “In the morning I worked through the qualifying sims and in the afternoon it was onto the race runs. I'll have a break tomorrow while Adrian takes over the car to test some new aero upgrades” he said and added that trying pit stops in race conditions was a new experience.
