Rome:
An investigation into the events surrounding a horror clash involving Formula One drive Robert Kubica has been closed, the Savona prosecutor said on Tuesday.
Renault driver Kubica crashed into a wall and ended up in a safety barrier in an accident during the Ronde di Andora rally in northern Italy on February 6.
He narrowly avoided having his hand amputated and underwent four operations to his hand, arm, foot and shoulder.
He spent 76 days in the Santa Corona hospital in Pietra Ligure before being released on April 24.
But following an investigation, no fault was attached to either his rally team or Kubica himself.
