Speaking about her Indian origins to NDTV on Friday, Formula One's first woman boss said that she is proud to have an Indian connect. "I have spent lovely times here. I have spent great moments with my grandparents, friends and family. And that is part of my life. This is what I would like to tell my children and I hope that I can show them more of India."

The 42-year-old has a stake in the F1 team as well and she says her role as the team principle of Sauber Formula One team is all about being responsible towards the three hundred employees working under her. "I am not so powerful to start with and I also don't think it is about power. It's, for me, mainly about responsibility. First of all, to our three hundred employees which is not a small amount.
