Melbourne:
Colombian Juan Pablo Montoya stormed out of a news conference after losing patience with an offbeat line of questions leading into the weekend's season-opening Australian Formula One Grand Prix. Montoya told Williams officials he did not appreciate being made the target of jokes by two comedians who attended the press conference and asked him about golf while apparently performing rehearsed skit involving a mobile telephone. Earlier, Montoya had been positive about Williams' chances of unseating Ferrari for the Formula One constructors' title this season. Ferrari's Michael Schumacher edged McLaren's Kimi Raikkonen for the drivers' championship last season, with the title hinging on the last race. Montoya was third in the standings. Ferrari won the constructors' title ahead of Williams and McLaren. Montoya predicted the Williams cars would be quicker this season, even if they are not for the first race of the season at Albert Park. (AP)Topics mentioned in this article
