Michael Schumacher's wife has said that positive energies from fans and well-wishers helped the five-time F1 champion come out of coma after he met with a near-fatal skiing accident on December 29. Corinna made the comments in a personal message on the official race program ahead of the German Grand Prix.

Schumacher - who came out of his coma after close to six months - is in a University hospital in Lausanne to continue his long phase of rehabilitation. While medical experts previously debated if the former Ferrari driver would ever be able to come out of his coma, Corinna said the hope provided by fans was overwhelming.

According to a report in CNN, Corinna said she felt the German Grand Prix was the ideal opportunity to thank all well-wishers, and said that they battled past the hardest phase of Schumacher's condition, together.
