Legendary Formula One driver Michael Schumacher is receiving the best medical treatment money can buy. After a tragic skiing accident last December that put him in coma, the 45-year-old spent months in a French hospital before being transferred to a custom-built clinic in his Swiss mansion in Gland. (Michael Schumacher is 'waking up slowly', says Son Mick)
And the weekly medical bill there reportedly comes close to 100,000 pounds a week.
Built at a cost of 45 million pounds, the state-of-the-art clinic sits next to Schumacher's 40-bedroom mansion. While the residence has 40 bedrooms- apart from several cinema halls and a helipad, the clinic itself is an elegant yet sophisticated facility which was designed specifically to treat Schumacher.
