Gurgaon: Promising Manu Gandas was among the Indian winners as the hosts and Thailand shared three titles, on the final day of the 3rd Albatross International Junior Golf Championship India, at the ITC Classic Golf Resort.
Manu won category 'A' by two shots after closing with a classy four-under 68. And his joy was doubled when he combined with Prakhar Asawa to help India to the boys' team title (category 'A' and 'B').
The other home winners were Amrita Anand in category 'C', Aadil Bedi in category 'D', and Shubham in category 'E'. Amrita ended 54 holes in a tie with Thailand's Jaravee Boonchant, but did well to hold her nerve in a play-off. The ever-consistent Bedi won his category by an emphatic seven shots, while Shubham finished 12 clear of his nearest challenger.
