SSP Chowrasia ends tied 49th at Qatar

Chowrasia now moves to Dubai for the final leg of the Desert Swing. "I will then go to South Africa for two weeks before coming to India," added Chowrasia.

Doha: SSP Chowrasia rounded of the Qatar Masters, the second leg of the three-week Middle East swing on the European tour, with an even par 72 to finish tied 49th.

Chowrasia, tied 17th at the Abu Dhabi Open, ended with a week's effort of four-under 284 with rounds of 70, 73, 69 and 72.

"It has been a modest start, though both weeks I felt I could have done much better. I have been hitting alright, but I need to close in with better putting," said Chowrasia, whose short game is his strength.
