Stratford, New Zealand: Putting up a disappointing performance, India's junior women's hockey team was blanked 5-0 by New Zealand in the third match of the six-Test series at the TET Multisports Centre here.

The first half of the match saw a defensive game from the Indian team. But two penalty corners in New Zealand's favour were successfully converted by Siobhan Nuzum and Su Arn Kwek, giving the hosts a 2-0 lead by the end of the first half.

The Junior Black Sticks women were on an attacking spree and held the Indians back from opening their account in the match.
