International Cricket Council unkind to Brisbane in 2015 World Cup draw

The 2015 Cricket World Cup starts on February 14 with Sri Lanka taking on New Zealand in Christchurch and England facing Australia in Melbourne.

With the likes of Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide have got all the big games, Brisbane was unlucky to lose out on the major clashes as some would feel that they were not given a fair quota of games in the competition.

The Gabba in Brisbane has been allotted three games, but none of the knockout matches, in the 2015 Cricket World Cup once the main draw was announced on Tuesday. Read: Full Schedule

The 11th match of the tournament will allow Queensland cricket fans to see Australia face Bangladesh on February 21 of 2015.
