Pakistan keen to have pacer Mohammad Irfan in team for 2015 World Cup

Since his international debut in 2010, Mohammad Irfan has played 4 Tests, 27 ODIs and 7 T20Is for Pakistan.

Karachi: Pakistan's cricket experts have prepared a comprehensive plan to ensure that the injury prone left-arm pacer, Mohammad Irfan is available for the national team in the World Cup 2015.

The head coach at the national cricket academy, Mohammad Akram told PTI that with a spate of international events coming up for Pakistan this season, culminating with the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, they have worked out a plan to ensure all the top bowlers are available for selection.

"Irfan has made a great recovery from his hip hairline fracture but he is not ready to play as yet. We are holding back his comeback," Akram who was until recently bowling coach of the national team said.
