Melbourne: Australia's injury woes just got worse with explosive batsman David Warner admitting stiffness in his back while fast bowlers James Pattinson and Peter Siddle were carrying injuries ahead of the first Test against India starting December 26.
Warner, who scored his maiden Test century in last week's shock loss of Australia to New Zealand, will need to pass a fitness test on Friday to play for the Sydney Thunder in the Twenty20 Big Bash League on the weekend.
"I am in discomfort when I'm not moving. I've got to keep moving every five or 10 minutes, because if I'm in one position ... I stiffen up," Warner said.
