Yuvraj Singh hopes to make a comeback into Indian ODI team

Yuvraj, who led India 'A' against West Indies 'A', scored 224 runs -- 123, 40 and 61 -- in the three-match unofficial ODI series which his side lost 1-2.

Bangalore: Having made a statement with the bat in the just-concluded India 'A' series, Yuvraj Singh on Friday said that he hoped to get picked in the ODI team.

"I had a fantastic tournament here (Bangalore). Hopefully it will change things for me," he told reporters at the launch of cancer detection month by 'YouWeCan' and Indian Cancer Society.

"I am not here to talk about my comeback, when it is supposed to happen it will happen. I am here is for Youwecan. At the end of the day I am a cricketer and I am a fighter and survivor," he said.
