Ranchi: Mahendra Singh DhoniIndian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's decision to field first in the fourth One Day International against Australia irked some of his hometown fans.

An unidentified person pelted a stone at Dhoni's house in the Harmu Housing Colony on Wednesday night. The fans were returning after the match was called off due to heavy rain.

During the stone pelting incident, when a window also broke, Dhoni's family were present at the Jharkhand Cricket State Association International Stadium to watch the match. (Match in pics)
