I'd love to lead Australia in future: David Warner

Warner was kicked out of the Centre of Excellence in Australia as a 20-year-old. The flashy batsman, who has played for Delhi Daredevils in the last IPL, believed he has learnt from past mistakes.

New Delhi: Australia opener David Warner says he harbours ambitions of leading the national team in the future.

"It's definitely something I'd love to do," Warner said ahead of the fourth Test against India starting on Friday.

"Obviously 'Pup' (Clarke) is doing a great job now, but in time I think I'd have something to offer," the 26-year-old left-handed batsman was quoted as saying by 'Courier Mail'.
